Rajiv Sengupta

Rajiv Sengupta is the HR leader for corporate functions of Amazon, with a focus on International (Non-US) markets. Over his 13 years at Amazon, he has led a variety of HR roles across Operations, Talent Acquisition, HR Tech, Sales, Marketing, Compliance, Legal and Finance Orgs.

Prior to joining Amazon, he started his career as a Computer Science Engineer at Computer Sciences Corporation. He also built HR tools for the PeopleSoft umbrella of applications at Oracle. He then went for his MBA, specialising in Industrial Relations and Development Economics before finally joining Amazon.

Rajiv has a strong passion for technology and the ongoing developments in AI have kept him hooked. Outside of work, Rajiv has a passion for football and travelling. He considers himself fortunate for his extensive travel experiences that he shares with his wife and 5-year-old son.
