Q&A | ICS Learn

Why are you exhibiting at the CIPD Annual Conference and Exhibition?

We’ve been a CIPD provider for more than 30 years, so we never miss the CIPD Conference. It’s one of our favourite events of the year!

We love meeting our CIPD students past and present, and helping those who aren’t CIPD qualified yet – or are looking to progress to a higher level – learn if studying online is right for them.

Are you looking to reach a particular audience?

We work with both individuals and organisations to help them become professionally qualified – not just in HR and L&D, but in finance, management, procurement and a variety of other subjects.

Anyone who is looking for total freedom and flexibility in the way they or their team learn is a perfect match for us.

Our courses are 100% online and there are no set timetables, so our students can learn wherever and whenever suits them best, whether that’s during their commute, on their lunchbreak, or after the kids have gone to bed.

It’s perfect for people with careers and families, and for organisations that need an agile approach to L&D.

What will you be doing on your exhibitor stand?

We’re really excited to be running our Win a Free Course competition again this year. The winner can choose any course they like in any subject, including the CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma, which as you know is equivalent to a Master’s degree.

It’s an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to take their career to the next level or help a colleague to develop their skills.

We’ll also be running our question wall, asking people to share ‘What excites you about HR?’ Seeing everyone’s answers is one of our favourite parts of the show!

What’s your top tip for making the most of the CIPD Annual Conference and Exhibition?

Speak to everyone and learn from everyone. From exhibitors to presenters to other attendees – you never know who you’ll meet, what problems you’ll solve, or what opportunities you’ll discover.

If you had to sum up the event in two words, what would those be?

Keep learning!
