Andy is an accomplished L&D Manager with over 10 years’ experience in managing and delivering large-scale bespoke learning solutions for corporate, strategic, operational, customer led and commercially focussed projects. He has successfully led a multi-disciplined / cross site L&D team to deliver key business results.
He is currently the Emerging Talent Manager at Yorkshire Building Society and was responsible for the design and implementation of their award winning apprenticeship programme and regularly presents across the country promoting apprenticeships as a real alternative to university. As a National Apprenticeship Service Ambassador, Andy is active in supporting organisations across Yorkshire and Humberside, developing their apprenticeship propositions through a consultative approach providing insight and guidance.
Andy was part of the apprenticeship trailblazer groups responsible for the design and implementation of the new standards for Financial Services (levels 6 and 7), Learning and Development (levels 3 and 5) and provided recommendations to the Building Society Association in developing their level 7 Leadership and Management apprenticeship in partnership with Loughborough University.
