Matt joined Christchurch and East Dorset Councils in 2013 at the end of the shared services programme and right at the start of smarter working conversations. Having cut his teeth working in the change management team at a large lifesaving charity, Matt brought a range of skills and experience to the partnership about to start transformational change.
Leading on the manager and employee development area, Matt coordinated and delivered a number of the key training and support modules staff identified as vital to supporting employees through the smarter working project. Matt is a great team player, fulfilling a number of project roles in the transformation programme from box shifter, kit setter upper to coach, trainer and facilitator. Smarter working at Christchurch and East Dorset Councils continues to thrive and the project was nationally recognised with the 2017 CIPD Change Management award.
