David’s career started in automotive component manufacturing after he graduated with an engineering degree.
After a period specialising in quality management and continuous improvement he became a chartered engineer and then went on to complete a Master’s Degree in quality and human resource management.
David’s career then gradually evolved into organisational development, people strategy and talent development. He has held executive and board-level roles in international businesses such as Carlsberg and Norbert Dentressangle (now XPO Logistics).
Since early 2017 David has been Group Organisational Development Director with Total Produce plc, a global fresh food business. In this role he reports to the group CEO and is responsible for global people strategy, organisation design, succession planning and talent development. He is passionate about developing leadership capability centred around coaching, facilitation and strong two-way communication.
David is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
