Jon Ingham

Jon is a people and organisation strategist who provides consulting and training in modern and innovative HR and organisational management through his new digital academy. His training helps HR practitioners improve their capabilities in truly strategic HR, new people-centric approaches, innovated performance management and reward, organisation design and development, leading HR and digital transformation.

As a consultant, Jon has been involved in several digital projects including acting as interim head of organisation development to lead the introduction of digital approaches at a leading UK retailer. This included the introduction of omnichannel support for customers, through the provision of personal / store based tablets, new apps and an enterprise social network.

Jon has also written several articles, book chapters and books on the future of work and of HR, including ‘Building Better HR Departments’ (with Dave Ulrich, 2016) and ’The Social Organization’ (Kogan Page, 2017). He also had articles on new organisation forms, and new HR models published in HR Magazine in 2019.

Jon has lectured in strategic management, change management and HR with several different business schools and currently is an associate for the Irish Management Institute. He has also conducted research for the Economist Intelligence Unit and recently worked on a review of employee apps as part of the digital workplace. He has also presented research on Sky News, BBC Breakfast and Radio 4’s Today program on behalf of Glassdoor.

Jon has previously worked as an IT consultant and an international HR director. He has BA in Psychology, a Masters in Engineering and an MBA. He has frequently been recognised as a leading thinker on HR, was one of HR Magazine’s Movers & Shakers in 2019 and one of Human Resource Executive’s Top 100 Global HR Tech Influencers in 2019 and 2020.
