Presentation: Building psychological safety and reducing harassment at work
Conflicts, bullying and exposure to violence and aggression at work represent one of the major causes of panic attacks, anxiety and depression in employees. This will result in a dramatic decrease in performance and productivity and an increase in requests of sick days and days off. It is therefore an organisation’s duty to build an environment and space where everyone can feel safe to speak up, report harassment and be their full selves without fearing any negative consequences. This session will explore:
- practical tips to create an environment where your people are treated fairly and feel safe to speak up
- encouraging reporting of incidents to improve understanding of the problem
- building awareness, listening to employees and increasing perceptions of psychological safety.
