Dave Crossland, Head of Organisation Development, Jersey Electric
Dave joined Jersey Electricity (JE) in 2015, having previously held senior learning and development positions in the finance and legal sector, working for multi-national organisations to deliver global development solutions. Having held responsibility for L&D delivery across multiple EMEA locations, Dave has extensive experience in understanding an organisation’s culture and the practice of bringing about lasting culture change – whether organically through internal development initiatives or through the merging of multiple cultures through acquisition. At Jersey Electricity, Dave is responsible for a wide range of OD workstreams, from D&I, employee wellbeing, employee engagement and leadership development. He recently produced a research paper for the Board of JE on the future of work, taking into account the organisational learnings presented by the pandemic. He is an active member of industry working groups, such as National Skills Academy (Power) as well as local groups in Jersey aimed at attracting talent into the engineering sector. With almost 20 years’ OD and L&D experience, Dave has seen significant change in the focus of HR initiatives and has a keen interest in developing organisations, and individuals within them, to meet future needs.
