Graham Salisbury, Senior Lecturer in Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour , Nottingham Trent University
Graham recently joined the Tony Blair Africa Governance Initiative in September 2016 as Head of Human Resources, having previously worked for four months for The Advocacy Project as Interim Head of Human Resources.
Prior to this, Graham headed up the HR team for ActionAid for three years, where his role encompassed the full spectrum of HR activities, with a major focus on HR Strategy, Organisational Development, Leadership and Employee Development, and Employee Engagement.
Graham has also enjoyed a successful career in the commercial aerospace and defence sector, and has also undertaken senior roles in Human Rights organisations such as Amnesty International.
His work in raising the profile of HR in the not-for-profit sector has featured in People Management, HR Magazine and the Guardian.
Graham has wide experience of implementing HR Business Partner models within a wide spectrum of organisations, and is particularly interested in identifying and developing the critical skills and competencies required by Business Partners.
He has an undergraduate degree in Theology and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management.
