Jenni Douglas-Todd, Director of Equality & Inclusion, NHS England
Jenni has spent over 20 years working with the public sector. She joined the civil service at the Home Office, where she spent four years before becoming Director of policy and research for the Independent Police Complaints Commission. In 2009, Jenni became Chief Executive and Monitoring Officer for Hampshire Police Authority and subsequently the Hampshire Police and Crime Commissioner.
In 2014, Jenni took on the role of an investigating committee chair for the General Dental Council in 2014, alongside providing change consultancy services for a number of different organisations including Army HQ. She also supported Transparency International and the UK’s Defence Academy in their global counter corruption work. Today Jenni is joint Director of Equality and Inclusion for NHSE/I, and ensures equality and inclusion underpins, and is at the forefront of, workforce aspirations. Jenni has also been Independent Chair of Dorset Integrated Care System since March 2020.
