Jenny Craik, Global Head, Performance, Reward & ER, Standard Chartered Bank
Since 2018, Jenny Craik has assumed the role of Global Head, Performance, Reward & Employee Relations for Standard Chartered Bank and is based in London. Jenny sets and leads the strategy for performance management, reward, benefits and employee relations across the Group (covering approximately 82,000 employees across 60+ markets). This involves the design and implementation of organisational compensation and benefits programs, policies and procedures which support the organisation’s strategic objectives and meet relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Jenny is responsible for ensuring there are appropriate frameworks in place to foster a fair, inclusive and high-performing culture that mitigates people management risk for the Bank.
Jenny joined Standard Chartered in 2015 as Head Performance, Reward and Benefits (PRB) for Functions and Europe & Americas before assuming the role of Head, Executive Compensation & Reward Governance. During her tenure, Jenny has spear-headed a number of market-leading initiatives. This includes the development and expansion of flexible working and parental leave in 2017, and the development and implementation of the Group’s Fair Pay Charter and wellbeing strategy.
Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Jenny was the Head of Performance and Reward for Barclays Africa, the JSE-listed subsidiary of Barclays plc. She has significant experience in reward in the banking industry.
