Julia Ingall, Chief People and Culture Officer, Ennismore
Julia Ingall joined Ennismore 12 months ago as the Company’s first Global Chief People and Culture Officer, responsible for leading the people and culture division across all brands globally. Julia is new to the hospitality sector and joined based on her excitement for Ennismore and their innovation and growth plans, but also because she appreciated that people engagement, culture and development were key to really developing the opportunity for the sector to offer interesting and exciting careers, as opposed to potential stop gap roles.
Julia joined from Ogilvy & Mather, an International advertising, marketing and public relations company (part of WPP), where she was Talent Management Director, EMEA working across 35 countries, totalling approximately 6000 people.
Julia’s career in HR began over 20 years ago at Virgin Atlantic. Since then, she has led both generalist and specialist learning and development, reward and recruitment teams both locally in the UK and internationally across branding & design, leisure, retail, tech, internet start up and the media sectors, including businesses such as MTV, Betfair and Uniqlo.
She is passionate about people and believes that a healthy dose of reality, a sense of humour and simplicity are crucial to the role of HR and engagement in the business.
Julia is a trained Executive Coach and a Fellow of the CIPD.
