Karen Smith, Head of Workplace Wellbeing, UCL

Karen Smith is the Head of Workplace Wellbeing at University College London (UCL).  She developed and launched UCLs first Wellbeing strategy in January 2017, she leads the Workplace Wellbeing team and over 180 Wellbeing Champions and 100 Mental Health First Aiders. Karen has been developing a Staff Mental Health and Wellbeing Plan that will launch soon and supersede the previous strategy.

Karen is passionate about opening wellbeing conversations at all levels, drawing together resources in a meaningful way and collaborations both within and external to UCL. She is studying towards a Masters in Health and Wellbeing.
