The CIPD and Haymarket Media Group (who deliver events on behalf of the CIPD) are following the current guidance from the UK Government and the World Health Organisation and as such the UK events will be taking place as planned unless otherwise notified or specified on the website. Our priority during this time is the welfare of our event attendees and our teams, and we will continue to closely monitor the development of the COVID-19/Coronavirus and any potential impact on our event. Haymarket Media Group – CIPD Events Coronavirus (COVID-19) Policy – Addendums to the cancellation and booking terms

The CIPD and Haymarket Media Group (who deliver events on behalf of the CIPD) are following the guidance provided by the UK Government and the World Health Organisation. 

At present all CIPD events will continue to take place as scheduled, unless you are notified otherwise. We are closely monitoring the advice and will update our policies in accordance to the advice supplied by the Government and the World Health Organisation. 

Haymarket Media Group – CIPD Events Cancellation Policy

 

Coronavirus related exceptions to the standard cancellation terms:

Company travel bans and self-isolation:

If you are unable to travel to attend a CIPD event due to a company travel ban enforced by your employer, or if you have been required to self-isolate, based on guidance issued by your Government, you may request a free transfer to another CIPD event taking place within the next 12 months. Or to the same event taking place the following year.

The transferred booking must be to the same or lesser value. Please be aware there are no refunds, if the new booking is of a lower value to the original booking. If you wish to attend an event at a higher value, you will be required to pay the difference. You may only defer your booking to a Haymarket run event. You must request your transfer at the earliest opportunity and at least 3 working days before your event date by contacting the Customer Services Team for CIPD Events at: cipdevents.tickets@haymarket.com or phone: +44 (0)20 8267 3200

 

Attendees from outside the UK:

If you are travelling to a CIPD event from a region that has been identified as high risk and the UK government (or the government from the country that you reside in, or are travelling from) has advised against travel, we will issue a full refund of any fees paid. You must notify the Customer Services Team for CIPD events of your circumstances before your event date by emailing: cipdevents.tickets@haymarket.com. Please note: We may require you to verify the details provided to us.

‘At risk’ attendees and carers: 

If you are unable to travel to attend a CIPD event due medical advice or if you are a carer for ‘at risk’ individuals, in relation to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), please contact the Customer Services Team for CIPD Events at: cipdevents.tickets@haymarket.com or phone: +44 (0)20 8267 3200 to discuss your specific needs. 

Alternative options may be provided. Such as; transfering your attendance to another CIPD event taking place within the next 12 months. Or to move your booking to the same event taking place the following year.
