Join the CIPD Midlands Annual Event 2020, online on Friday 9 October 2020

Work can and should be a force for good.  It should be fair, meaningful and productive for the benefit of people, organisations and society as a whole.  The people profession is a unique position to drive this agenda and must step up to the challenge to enable purposeful jobs, ethical practices, and inclusive work environments for all.

At the year’s CIPD Midlands Annual Event we will explore these themes against the backdrop of the huge changes that have taken place in the past few months.  We’ll look at how the people profession can make the workplace fair and productive while providing meaningful jobs and opportunities.   Our guest speakers will cover topics that include:

  • Tackling racism at work
  • Unbiased recruitment to provide opportunities for all
  • Engagement in uncertain times

And with World Mental Health Day taking place the following day our closing session will allow you to take time to focus on how to build resilience and look after your own wellbeing.

With a mix of keynotes, panels, case studies and research-focused presentations, the day will provide the chance to hear the latest CIPD’s insights and learn from the experiences of other organisations in the region – so do join us and your fellow CIPD members online for the 2020 Midlands Annual Event.
