Jamila Lecky

HR Transformation Planning Manager and Former Reward Specialist, GroupM

Jamila Lecky is a chartered HR professional experienced in global reward and organisational change and project management. Jamila was the recipient of the 2022 CIPD People Management Student of the year - Advanced level award for the work she did in leading the global change management for her previous organisation's new HCM system. Now as HR Transformation Planning Manager, Jamila will be aiding to drive GroupM's HR strategy forward. 

As an alum of the University of Surrey, where she achieved her degree in Business Management, Jamila gained experience in UK & European retailing, working for Tesco, New Look and M&Co, before joining Mott MacDonald, an engineering and project management consultancy, in 2017, marking a career change in to HR, and now taking her first steps into Media through GroupM! 

With a personal interest in employee motivation and engagement, Jamila has written papers on work-life balance and the use of bonuses as employee motivators.

In addition, Jamila is also a voluntary member of the Steering Committee for the Workplace Fertility Community, which aims to promote and raise awareness of the need for appropriate fertility support and benefits for employees.
