Nic Elliott

Nic Elliott wears two hats at Actons Solicitors: he’s both the HR director and head of the employment law team. Nic is the go-to person when businesses are dealing with tricky people issues, or when senior execs are joining or leaving a company. He is known for giving straight-talking, practical advice that’s rooted in both legal know-how and a deep understanding of how people tick.

Nic has been recognised for years by The Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner, and he’s one of the UK’s top Legal LinkedInfluencers. Thanks to his background in psychology, Nic brings a fresh perspective to people issues, thinking about the human impact as well as the legal side. His current client list includes Waterstones, Rab, Randstad and Nottingham Forest Football Club.

Nic spent time on secondment in the HR team of a global retail bank and has specialised in employment law since 2006.
