Nuala Polo

Nuala Polo is a Senior Policy Advisor and AI Assurance Lead at the Responsible Technology Adoption Unit (RTA), a directorate within the UK government that works on enabling responsible innovation in AI and data driven technologies. Nuala’s work focuses on engaging with industry and regulators to drive the uptake of tools for trustworthy AI to operationalise and implement high-level policy principles in practice. Nuala is the UK delegate of the OECD’s working party on AI governance. She holds an MSc Cognition in Science and Society from the University of Edinburgh.
