James Vasey

James Vasey has worked in the Health Workforce Directorate of Scottish Government since 2020. His policy responsibilities have included violence and aggression against staff, uniform policy and health and social care specific Covid-19 guidance. In 2021 James’s team were tasked with the development and implementation of the NHS Scotland Menopause and Menstrual Health Workplace Policy. To achieve this his team conducted extensive stakeholder engagement with subject matter experts, employers, staff, and staff side representatives. His team also created a working group that oversaw the drafting and re-drafting of the policy, supporting guides, and digital communication materials used to promote the policy.
