Samantha Hamilton-Green

Samantha is the Group People & Brand Director for the growing UK-wide hotel brand, Dakota Hotels. A key decision-maker in the business, Samantha’s strategic leadership spans people & culture, H&S compliance, and brand standards. Since joining in 2011, her remit has expanded in line with the brand’s growth, reflecting Dakota’s ethos, inspired by founder Ken McCulloch, of placing people at the heart of its success.

Beyond Dakota Hotels, Samantha’s experience includes business partnering across the travel and property sectors within the company’s wider portfolio, bringing a wealth of cross-industry insight to her role.

A Fellow of the CIPD since 2020, she values continuous professional development, having earned her MBA and completed an executive leadership program at Saïd Business School, Oxford University. Under her leadership, Dakota’s people team has earned accolades, including the Hotel Cateys’ ‘People Team of the Year’ and recognition as a Sunday Times Best Place to Work.
