Nicola Barker
Head of Global Talent Management, Acquisition and Development, DHL Supply Chain
Nicola has over 20 years experience in Talent, Development and Organisational Culture.
She started her career in Finance working for ICI, AstraZeneca and Syngenta and completed a MSc in Career Management and Counselling (focusing on organisational Behaviour) in 2003 and setting up her own business to facilitate work life “flexibility” as a working mum. She returned to corporate life in 2015 as VP Talent Development and Learning with DHL Supply Chain UKI and subsequently also added DEI&B (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging) to her portfolio in 2021. She has recently moved into a global role as the Head of Global Talent, Acquisition and Development for DHL Supply Chain.
When not working Nicola loves to be out in the fresh air, mainly in the garden or on a good walk with a country pub at the end, trying out new recipes or discovering new holiday destinations.
