Organisational Effectiveness Lead, Yorkshire Water

Sarah is an experienced organisational development (OD) professional who loves to make a difference. She has nearly 20 years of experience in the learning and development and OD fields, across various industries, including retail, pharmaceutical, publishing, and utilities.  Sarah is a chartered member of the CIPD since 2013.

In 2014, Sarah joined Yorkshire Water’s L&D team, and transitioned to the OD team as OD Lead in 2020, where she’s been focused on introducing a modern continuous performance development approach, which has recently been shortlisted for the CIPD People Management Awards in the Best OD Initiative category.

Sarah is dedicated to delivering sustainable change projects that genuinely benefit colleagues in the workplace.  She believes that the best way to create lasting change is by working collaboratively with others to discover the answers together and paying attention to the little details.

Sarah's presentations are engaging and thought-provoking, and she has a talent for breaking down complex concepts into easily digestible pieces.  Outside of work, Sarah is kept very busy by her two young children, but she still finds time to run and recently completed her first marathon.
