Arundhati Dave

Research Fellow, Institute for Employment Studies

Arundhati is an employment policy researcher at the Institute for Employment Studies (IES) – an independent centre for research and evidence-based consultancy. Her work focuses on increasing access to good work for disadvantaged and underrepresented groups, with a strong emphasis on equality, diversity, wellbeing, and inclusion. She brings a multidisciplinary approach to research, applying a gender lens across projects that span labour markets, organisational behaviour, and HR policy.

At IES, Arundhati leads and contributes to a range of multi-disciplinary projects. Her recent work explores how best to support unpaid carers to enter, stay, and thrive in work. Prior to joining IES, she worked at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, researching gender, human resource management, education, and international development. She has collaborated with charities, academic institutions and corporate partners on research and consulting projects across management, policy and corporate responsibility areas.

Arundhati holds degrees in behavioural science from India and in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour from the London School of Economics.
