Ewen MacPherson

Ewen is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD with experience in leading progressive people and talent programmes for complex media, creative, retail and broadcast businesses. He has expertise in a broad range of areas, including business transformation, organisational design, building and embedding talent initiatives, delivering cultural change and change management programmes, M&A activity and senior stakeholder management.

As Chief People Officer at Havas Group, Ewen leads a team of 30 people to effectively deliver an industry-leading and award-winning HR offering. Ewen is part of the UK Group Leadership Team, and is responsible for driving the people agenda for the combined Group of nearly 3,500 employees across 28 different agencies and businesses with billings (sales) in excess of £800m.

His primary focus is to drive integration across what Havas calls their UK Village, helping employees and agencies make connections to ultimately elevate their EVP. He has spearheaded several high impact programmes in his time at Havas, and is recognised as a progressive HR leader in the industry – he has led several Havas agencies to Best Place to Work recognition for their culture, as well as been recognised by industry bodies for his work in mental health and DEI.
