Ben Graff

Ben joined National Grid’s Graduate Scheme in 1998, and has had an extensive career in senior HR, Strategy and Commercial roles. He was appointed as National Grid’s Group Head of Strategic Workforce Planning in 2023, with a remit to ensure that the business was able to meet both it’s short- and long-term resourcing needs. A key business challenge, given National Grid’s growth and workforce demographics.

Through the introduction of annual and quarterly processes, aligned with strong relationship management, Ben has embedded a new approach to both operational and strategic workforce planning. This has included a keen focus on talent, critical roles, and working across National Grid to turn insights into action. Ben is proud to be part of a company that has such a pivotal role to play in the energy transition.
