Professor Nick Kemsley

Nick has spent nearly 25 years influencing the SWP conversation as a thought leader, practitioner, researcher and developer of capability. In that time he has worked with close to one hundred organisations. His practical approach, rooted in business strategy delivery and organisational risk and the development of focused and thoughtful workforce strategies, has proven impact with C-suite and HR functions across sectors and geographies.

An engineer by training, Nick’s 20 year corporate career saw him move through programme management and capital investment strategy into leading OD, Talent, L&D, Recruitment and Leadership functions at regional and global levels. The past 15 years has seen him leading Henley’s HR and Organisational Capability offer whilst also running his own Consulting business specialising in SWP. He has co-led the future SWP model workstream of the Imagine Collaborative and is currently involved in creating a collaborative venture aimed at pulling together a capability-focused SWP ‘ecosystem’ to support organisations with all elements of excellence in the topic.
