Ann-Marie Blake

Ann-Marie Blake, Chair Heads of Communication SIG, International Association of Business Communicators. 

Ann-Marie worked both in-house and as a consultant across public relations, marketing, corporate affairs, change and internal communications. She has held senior positions at organisations such as NatWest, Barclays, and HSBC prior to co-founding True in 2023.    

A sought-after speaker on leadership, change and communication she has delivered keynotes and guest lectures around the world, including being a guest lecturer on Managing Organisational Change at  Durham University Business School.

She is a Chartered PR Practitioner and served as Secretary/Treasurer on the International Executive Board of the IABC from 2020 to 2024.

Her contribution to the communications profession has been recognised with Fellowships of both the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the Centre for Strategic Communication Excellence.

Ann-Marie is also a founding Board Member of the PRCA Race and Ethnicity Equity Board (REEB), a PRovoke Innovator 25 (EMEA), and a 2025 Independent Impact 50 award winner, celebrating the UK’s most influential independent PR practitioners.  She was recently named of the top 25 UK based black comms pros in 2025 by industry publication PRWeek.
