Jo Carlin has held senior HR leadership roles for over two decades, operating across the UK, Europe and more recently South Africa, spanning diverse sectors including Manufacturing, Hospitality, FMCG, Specialised Life Sciences, the BPO industry and now Renewables Energy, for both national and multinational organisations. A qualified Executive Coach, Jo holds master’s degrees in both Psychological Science and Business, underlining her commitment to people-centric leadership and evidence-based organisational change.

She is a transformational HR leader and DEI specialist having built global Inclusion strategies focusing on embedding inclusion at the core of business and cultural change. With extensive experience in driving digital innovation and delivering people strategies, she empowers diverse teams and fosters workplaces where everyone thrives. Jo’s hands-on leadership and strategic focus on DEI have consistently enabled organisations to achieve measurable growth and engagement.

Jo thrives on getting to the heart of challenges and delivering practical, scalable solutions - enabling businesses to move forward with confidence. She is especially driven to support and elevate talent from all backgrounds, keeping inclusivity and resilience at the centre of her approach. Outside work, Jo loves spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their dog, most weekends find them hiking together in the Yorkshire Dales and Cumbria, recharging in the great outdoors.
