Bob Hughes

Bob Hughes is a Senior Director in Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice, helping organisations redesign work through the application of AI, digital technologies, and workforce transformation. He advises business and HR leaders on navigating the opportunities and challenges presented by generative AI, agentic technologies, and the implications for work and the workforce. As a leader within Deloitte’s Human Resources Strategy & Transformation (HRST) practice, Bob has supported major organisations across financial services and other sectors in redesigning operating models, workforce strategies, employee experiences, and HR technology landscapes. He leads Deloitte’s HR x AI work for the UK, focusing on the impact and implications of AI led redesign of work and a whole systems approach to the realisation of sustained value. Bob is a regular speaker on the future of work, AI-enabled transformation, and the evolving role of HR in an increasingly intelligent enterprise and is an author of Deloitte’s Human Capital Trends report.
