Herminia Ibarra is the Charles Handy Professor of Organisational Behaviour at London Business School and one of the world’s foremost experts on leadership, career transition and professional identity.

Listed on the Thinkers50 ranking of the world's most influential management thinkers, Herminia is the bestselling author of Working Identity: Unconventional Strategies for Reinventing Your Career and Act Like a Leader, Think Like a Leader. She is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Expert Network, a Fellow of the British Academy, and winner of the Academy of Management’s Scholar-Practitioner Award for her research’s contribution to management practice. She advises organizations and leaders worldwide on navigating change and unlocking human potential.

A lifelong academic, Herminia has served on the Harvard Business School and INSEAD faculties before joining LBS. She received her M.A. and Ph.D. from Yale University, where she was a National Science Fellow.

Her latest book, The Bonus Years: Reinventing Our Longer Work Lives, will be published in January.
