Katie Obi

Katie Obi is Chief People Officer at OneAdvanced, a leading UK enterprise software firm delivering mission-critical SaaS solutions across healthcare, education, local government, legal, social care, passenger transportation and logistics. She joined in December 2023 to transform an under-resourced People function into a strategic partner driving both customer and employee outcomes, launching a comprehensive two-year transformation programme that has delivered new performance and reward frameworks, a refreshed employee value proposition, and significant gains in engagement, payroll accuracy and functional maturity. Under her leadership, OneAdvanced was named the No.1 Employer in Europe by the Financial Times and Statista in 2025, and its cultural transformation programme won the CIPD's People Management Award for Best Change Initiative in 2025.

Katie brings over twenty years of experience aligning people and business strategy within technology businesses. She was previously Chief People Officer at Beamery, and before that Chief People and Transformation Officer at Rizing, a leading global SAP consulting firm, where she led multi-year organisational transformation and M&A integration across five acquisitions in 16 countries.

Katie is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, a Senior Certified Practitioner of SHRM, and was named to the CIPD's inaugural HR30 list of the most impactful HR professionals of 2025. She holds a master's degree from Cambridge University and mentors on the CIPD's Aspiring HR Leaders' programme.
