CIPD Annual Conference and Exhibition
3-4 November 2021
Manchester Central and online
The CIPD Annual Conference and Exhibition is the flagship event serving the heartland of the people profession. Whether you attend in-person at Manchester Central or online, this is your opportunity to reconnect with a global community of people professionals and rebuild a better future for people in the workplace.
Be inspired by leading practitioners and experts with extraordinary stories from within the people profession and beyond.
The disruption which the pandemic has caused to work, society and the economy has created a unique opportunity for us to recast all three into a new, better mould. There is a widespread acceptance that the quality of working lives can be radically improved – and the people profession will have a pivotal role in how this is defined.
Discover how to use this window of opportunity to boost responsible business – by optimising the new world of hybrid working, making a step change in engagement and inclusion and gearing up for transformational change. Now is the time to take on board the lessons learnt of the pandemic and play an active, leading role in creating a more purposeful, inclusive and productive working culture and environment.
Your health and wellbeing
We are looking forward to reconnecting the people profession at face-to-face events. The CIPD and Haymarket Media Group (who deliver events on behalf of the CIPD) continue to follow the guidelines set out by the government and closely monitor the situation with regard to Covid-19 on a regular basis.
The health and safety of event attendees is our top priority. To keep everyone safe, we ask that everyone attending in-person takes a lateral flow test prior to the event. If you get a positive result or are unable to attend the event due to any other Covid related issue, we will transfer you to an online ticket and refund any difference in the ticket price only.* You will then be able to view all sessions streamed live, or on-demand for three months after the event takes place. We also recommend that attendees wear masks in busy spaces or confined areas.
We will work closely with the venue to ensure that protocols are in place to adhere to the government guidelines. More details on the safety measures will be made available to you closer to the event.
*In the case that you are unable to attend, please contact your accommodation and/or travel provider directly to request a refund if possible.
