Lucy Standing

Lucy Standing is a Chartered psychologist specialising in mid career development. She is the founder of Brave Starts CIC – a non profit organisation supporting 300 – 400 people a year to plan and consider their future career development. 

She’s got specific expertise in the ageing population and has provided evidence and insights to both the OECD and UK Parliament. She’s been interviewed and written about by the BBC, the FT, Telegraph, Times, Guardian and Forbes. Prior to her work with Brave Starts, for nearly 10 years, she was Vice Chair of the Association for Business Psychology: a professional body helping certify and raise standards of the business psychology profession for which she’s also been awarded Honorary Membership. 

The HR field has also recognised her as one of the top ’influential thinkers’.
