Professor Emma Parry

Professor of Human Resource Management and Head of the Changing World of Work Group, Cranfield School of Management

Emma Parry is Professor of Human Resource Management and Head of the Changing World of Work Group at Cranfield School of Management.  She is a recognised expert in HRM and was named one of HR Magazine’s Most Influential HR Thinkers in 2022. Emma’s expertise focuses on the changing external context and how this affects work, the workplace and the workforce, particularly in relation to the influence of technological advancement, shifting demographics and changing workforce attitudes on managing people.

 

Emma is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences and British Academy of Management, an Academic Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and Honorary Fellow of the Institute for Employment Studies. She has published nine books and numerous academic and practice focused articles.  Emma has worked with a variety of organisations in areas related to HRM, talent management and organisation design as well as in helping them to address the challenges and opportunities presented by the changing world of work.
