Ethics at ACE: HR’s Crucial Role in Combatting Modern Slavery

There is estimated to be almost 25 million people around the world in forced labour, sexual exploitation, or domestic servitude. The UK Modern Slavery Act requires all businesses with an annual turnover above £36 million to publish an annual statement on Modern Slavery and Trafficking, identifying their steps to ensuring there is no slavery and human trafficking in their business (and their supply chain). Despite this, one survey indicated that 77% of organisations expected to find modern slavery in their operations or supply chain.

This interactive and conversational-style event brings together experts to discuss what HR professionals can do. It will provide delegates with practical steps to educate, implement and abolish Modern Day Slavery within organisations:

Expert insights: Learn from the Slave Free Alliance and advocates CAHNS ( Caribbean and African Health Network), who will share their experiences and expertise.

Learn and act: Understand the realities of modern-day slavery, its prevalence, and the urgent need for action globally. And discover how you can contribute to the global effort to combat modern-day slavery through your HR role.

Join us for a powerful discussion that will leave you inspired and equipped to make a real impact in your HR role.
