Carl Clarke

Carl Clarke is the Director of the Vodafone Learning Organisation, leading Learning, Talent, Leadership, Skills, People Performance, and Talent Acquisition activities across Vodafone. Under his leadership, learning engagement has doubled in the past two years, thanks to new platforms, content, and products that boost capability, performance, and leadership impact.

Since joining Vodafone in 2014, Carl has held several key roles, including People & Property Director in the Czech Republic, where he drove local capability building initiatives, led the UPC integration, and advanced diversity and inclusion, earning Vodafone recognition as the Best Employer for LGBT+ inclusion. He also served as Head of Organisation Effectiveness, partnering with teams across Europe on mergers, acquisitions, cultural change, and team effectiveness.
