Marlene joined the Corinthians as a teenager in 1957 and remembers her first trip abroad being with the Corinthians when they jetted to Madeira. She took part in tours to Portugal and South America and can remember the harsh conditions they played in on Fog Lane Park in Didsbury after being banned from official grounds.
