Simi Jolaoso

Simi Jolaoso is an investigative journalist at the BBC. She has reported on exclusive stories as well as big news events during her various roles, including as a foreign correspondent, based in West Africa, and as a senior journalist at the BBC News Channel. Simi has won an Amnesty International Media Award and a British Journalism Training Council Award for her work. She is passionate about telling human rights stories from underrepresented communities. She is also a champion of inclusive leadership within the corporate workplace. Outside of journalism, Simi loves to travel and is also an entrepreneur focused on women's health and personal finance.
